Call for Action: the selected projects

After the success of 2022, the biennale svizzera del territorio also proposed a Call for Action for the 2024 edition, on the theme Back to the Future. The open call welcomed students and professionals of all ages from around the world, with one fundamental requirement: the use of imagination. Proposals were open to any format — from installations to various types of performances and artworks — as long as they related to the Biennale's theme.

The aim of the call was to engage participants, transforming theoretical debate into concrete action, and to foster interest and reflection on the design of our future environment.

From over 120 proposals received, the Selection Committee chose 10 projects to be installed in the park of Villa Saroli and presented during the 5th biennale svizzera del territorio. The works are on display until 30 November 2024.
