Swiss Architecture Yearbook - SAY 2025/26

November 29, 2025 – January 31, 2026
Tue – Fri, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Limonaia di Villa Saroli,
Viale S. Franscini 9, Lugano

Following the success of the first edition, the second volume of the Swiss Architecture Yearbook, SAY 2025/2026, was presented in Basel last September. The publication offers a broad and diverse picture of Swiss architectural production, highlighting the variety of regions across Switzerland — from urban to rural areas — and focusing on central themes in built environment culture.

The volume brings together 30 selected projects, including 2 from Ticino, and 4 special mentions chosen from 158 submissions by a committee of experts. While the first edition launched a national and international dialogue on Swiss Baukultur, this second edition represents an important step towards the creation of a national archive of Swiss architecture, offering a balanced overview of all regions of the country.

As with the previous edition, a travelling exhibition, already presented at the S AM Swiss Architecture Museum in Basel, accompanies the yearbook, displaying all 158 submitted projects with a special focus on the 30 selected ones and the selection method.
