The exhibition brings together the work produced through this edition's two calls, the Call for Action and the Call for Pecha Kucha.
The ten Actions, selected from 246 submissions from around the world, are installations, performances and transformative interventions responding to a single premise: taking care of what already exists. Presented to the public during the opening days, they remain on view until the exhibition closes.
Alongside the Actions are the Pecha Kuchas: six projects, each told through 20 images shown for 20 seconds apiece.
Two different formats for the same question: what does it mean, today, to take care of places and of the people who inhabit them?
The Actions are installed in the park of Villa Saroli or presented inside the Limonaia. The Action Sit For A While by SKNYPL (Azamat Nyrov and Aleksandr Plotkin) can instead be found in two versions, in Piazza Besso in Lugano and on Piazzale ex Scuole in Viganello (Lugano).
