Following the success of the first edition, Il Privilegio di Vivere Lugano. La città incontra la gente (The Privilege of Living in Lugano. The City Meets its People), the project renews itself with a broader horizon: Lugano remains at the centre, but this time in dialogue with other cities, nearby or distant, Swiss or international.

Not a challenge, but an invitation: eighteen photographers from Lugano are called to choose a "correspondent" in another city, together building a visual narrative made of similarities and differences. At the heart of the project remains public space and the way it is lived and inhabited.

From this exchange — at times dialogue, at times clash — new narratives and new bridges between places and people emerge. Those photographing the other city are also driven by a desire to be discovered in turn: through the photographers' eyes, Lugano travels and reaches elsewhere.

The project is conceived as itinerant, starting from Lugano with possible future stops in other cities.
