Ristrutturazione Casa Giuseppina & Casetta
For three summers, a young architectural collective worked on the conversion of abandoned, remote stone houses in the mountains of Ticino. They sculpted a former corner stone into a sink, restored collapsed ceilings into double-storey rooms and turned open fireplaces into heat storage stoves. Since the transformation, the once abandoned walls embrace everyday life again, they serve as a holiday home or remote workplace.
