The exhibition presents the works created bythestudents during the 2026 edition of the Color Theory course, a visual journey that testifies to the richness and variety of color research developed throughout the year. A unique opportunity to discover how color, through practice and experimentation, becomes a tool for knowledge and expression.

The course was developed through 14 lessons inspired by the teaching approach of Josef Albers, a pedagogue and artist who made practice the centerpiece of his teaching, privileging it over pure theory. The proposed exercises guided the students and students in an in-depth exploration of the relationships between colors and their relatedness, addressing fundamental concepts such as hue, intensity, gradation, saturation, color intervals, vibrating boundaries and the kinship relationships between colors.

The starting point was not the theoretical laws of color behavior, but the conclusions drawn directly from the students' practical experiences in their work with colored papers, developing an authentic and personal understanding rooted in direct observation. Josef Albers stated that the ultimate purpose of his course was to open the students' eyes. This has also been the purpose of our course: to open eyes.
